Position: Sales Assistant (Full-Time) 

Location: Freshwater Branch

Hours: Full-time (Includes Saturday shifts; please note the branch is closed on Thursdays currently)

About Us: W Hurst & Son Ltd is an established and trusted hardware retailer dedicated to providing exceptional service and high-quality products to our local community. We are currently seeking a professional and motivated Full-Time Sales Assistant to join our dedicated team at the Freshwater branch. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality customer service, assisting patrons with product enquiries and purchases on the shop floor.
• Efficiently operate the point-of-sale (EPOS) system, including inventory searches and processing transactions.
• Receive, verify, and merchandise incoming stock deliveries to ensure optimal store presentation.
• Liaise professionally with our other company branches to coordinate inventory and maintain seamless operations.
• Contribute to the general maintenance, cleanliness, and organisation of the retail environment. 

Candidate Requirements:

• Experience: Proven experience within a retail environment is required.
• Knowledge: A foundational knowledge of, or interest in, DIY and hardware tools is advantageous, though product training will be provided.
• Key Attributes: A positive, reliable work ethic with a strong commitment to customer care and teamwork.
