Part of Isle of Wights oldest Hardware store. Opening in 1971 our Ryde store is the 2nd largest branch after Newport. A big part of the Ryde community on a busy Union Street with fantastic views of the sea. Being a seaside town the branch caters for visitors from the mainland as well as the surrounding area. A wide range of items including lighting, DIY, tools, giftware, electrical, homeware, gardening as well as a wide range of items for all decorating requirements. We work closely with local charities and recently voted UK favourite local business 2022. 

My name is Gordon and I am the manager here at our Ryde branch where I have been the manager now for just over 5 years.

I have worked at this branch now for nearly 35 years and still enjoy our loyal our customers are and the friendships built over the years.  The community is something i love over in Ryde where customers know me by my name whether in work or bumping into them shopping!!  

The team spirit in the store is something I am proud to be part of and we enjoy seeing what we can do to help our customers and build that relationship.  We take part in the companies involvement with charities and we like to promote local events.
