Fused Spur Connector Unit Single Switched & Neon 13amp
Part No. CEDSPSN
Use this switched fused spur to isolate individual appliances from the main circuit, minimising the risk of electrical shocks and fires. This device is suitable for high-voltage kitchen tools such as ovens, dishwashers, fridges and washing machines. You can also use it with high-power components in heating systems like boilers, hot-water tanks and thermostats, as well as heated towel rails. The fused spur features a rocker switch so you can turn the appliance on and off without cutting the power to the whole electrical circuit. This is particularly useful when you're inspecting or maintaining the device, as you can keep the lights on (or boil a kettle) while working. There's an integral fuse that operates to cut off supply if there's a problem within the unit being powered, protecting it from damage and avoiding fire danger. It's made from white plastic and there's a red tab on one end of the rocker to indicate the 'on' position so you'll be in no doubt.
