Adhesive copper tape discharges static electric to stop slugs and snails

Suitable for organic gardening

Defenders slug & snail barrier is a simple and effective way to protect plant pots, greenhouse staging, raised beds and cold-frames without using poison slug pellets.

When slugs and snails attempt to cross the copper tape a tiny electrical charge is produced which will repel them.

Directions for use:

• Apply Slug & Snail Barrier at planting, before any leaf damage is evident, to deliver maximum protection
• Clean and dry surface of the pot or planter before applying the copper tape
• Peel off the protective paper to expose the adhesive backing
• Stick Slug & Snail Barrier in a complete circle around the pot or planter
• Trim back any overhanging branches or leaves that could enable slugs and snails to gain access to the protected zone
• Wipe clean the surface of the copper tape from time to time to help ensure it continues to discharge electric
