Super Furry Gonk Cushion - Red is a red cushion featuring a gonk, a mythical gnome-like creature from Scandinavian folklore and now synonymous as Christmas decorations.
These cushions are particularly popular around Christmas time. They are made from a soft, furry material and typically measure 45cm x 45cm.
The first mention of a gonk dates back to 1600 in Norway, and possibly even earlier than that. A well-known motif of Nordic folklore the gonks' part protector who watched over homes from evil while also being mischievous themselves but had an often short tempered nature towards others, the town of Drogba could be the very origin of this myth.
