Vitax Magnesium Sulphate Epsom Salt 1.25kg

Magnesium is essential for the production of chlorophyll without which plant foliage turns brown and withers.

Tomatoes and house plants are particularly susceptible to magnesium deficiency, early symptoms of which are a yellowing between the veins of older leaves.

When to apply:

As required during the growing season.

Directions:

As a base dressing (before sowing or planting): work into the soil at the rate of 70 grammes per square metre (2oz per square yard)

As a liquid feed: Epsom salts are best applied dissolved in water at the rate of 20 grammes per litre of water. Apply to the leaves with a sprayer or watering can, or add at monthly intervals to normal liquid feed.
